A busy mom of three children she was looking for a safe and healthy way to exercise that would produce results without risk of injury. Pilates was the key. “I experienced positive changes in my body that running and lifting weights were not producing. I learned to engage my core, release the tension in my neck and improve my posture. This body awareness enabled me to continue to pursue all aspects of exercise safely and with better physical results.” As a STOTT Certified Pilates Instructor, Lia brings her experience and knowledge to Club Pilates with professionalism and enthusiasm. Lia is motivated to share her love and knowledge of Pilates with the community. Ten sessions on the reformer and your body will feel the difference. Twenty sessions on the reformer you will see the difference.

  • Krista Spivey

    Instructor

Krista found fitness in her forties, first by regaining control over food and then by adding exercise. Finding the right exercise routine was a journey. After going through several different fitness facilities she observed one thing that stood out: people were getting injured from either incorrect form or “over doing it”. So when Krista walked into Club Pilates and took her first Intro class she knew she had found the right fit! She appreciates the small member to instructor ratio, the use of hands on corrections, and a complete focus on muscle and mind engagement. ~ For the past 5 years Krista has been working with clients on their nutrition so becoming a Pilates Instructor was the perfect fit to continue helping people find health and wellness through mobility! ~ When Krista isn’t in the studio; teaching, taking a class, or practicing, she can be found shuttling her two teenagers around town, caring for two German Short-haired Pointers, or trying to grab some one-on-one time with her husband Eric. She also loves conspiracy theory suspense books.

Jim says, “I loved the way it made me feel and became interested in teaching pilates to help and encourage others to build and maintain their strength and flexibility. Pilates has strengthened my core so much that I am stronger today than I was when I was 21 years old.” A healthy spine is the key to staying young for a long time. • Ana Allen

    Apprentice Instructor

While in college, Ana was first introduced to Pilates through Windsor Pilates DVDs and a hand-me-down Aeropilates reformer from QVC. Although the videos were a good introduction to the Pilates world, they lacked the live feedback, proper form and guidance from a live class. Ana's passion for exercise and movement lead her to experiment with various types of activities throughout the years. Fast forward a few years, Ana was unable to continue with the HIIT training she grown fond of based off of doctor recommendations. Ana was reintroduced to pilates and immediately noticed that her chronic back pain improved as her core strengthened. Her love for pilates coupled with her 15-year teaching profession makes for a perfect combination. In her spare time, Ana enjoys being on the water, spending time with her husband and her cats.
