I'm Sherelle, and after 10 years in Higher Education, I wanted to do something in the health/fitness industry. I took a few Pilates classes in early 2016 and was instantly hooked! I decided to go after my certification to teach Pilates because I wanted a career that would allow me to teach others about the benefits and structured method of Pilates. I carried my first child while receiving my certification and it was part of what contributed to my healthy pregnancy. I love hearing testimonials from my students and spreading my love of Pilates with my community!
Katie was first introduced to Pilates as a young ballet dancer and immediately loved the results. As an adult, she was reintroduced to Pilates while searching for an exercise discipline that would offer both strength and flexibility. Katie decided to turn her passion into a profession and successfully underwent training in California through Kore Pilates to become a fully certified Pilates Instructor. She is dedicated to maintaining the essence of the original body of work as introduced by Joseph Pilates and also enjoys a contemporary approach as it fits into today’s lifestyle. Katie continues to educate herself for the benefit of her own professional growth and to create a progressive and evolving workout for her clients. Katie has been familiar with Club Pilates since it's inception and used to take classes at original location in San Diego. She is happy to be part of the West Cobb team and enjoys educating new clients on the benefits of Pilates!

Krista found fitness in her forties, first by regaining control over food and then by adding exercise. Finding the right exercise routine was a journey. After going through several different fitness facilities she observed one thing that stood out: people were getting injured from either incorrect form or “over doing it”. So when Krista walked into Club Pilates and took her first Intro class she knew she had found the right fit! She appreciates the small member to instructor ratio, the use of hands on corrections, and a complete focus on muscle and mind engagement. ~ For the past 5 years Krista has been working with clients on their nutrition so becoming a Pilates Instructor was the perfect fit to continue helping people find health and wellness through mobility! ~ When Krista isn’t in the studio; teaching, taking a class, or practicing, she can be found shuttling her two teenagers around town, caring for two German Short-haired Pointers, or trying to grab some one-on-one time with her husband Eric. She also loves conspiracy theory suspense books.
In 2009, after the birth of her daughter, Jenn found herself drawn to the benefits of the mind/body fitness styles of Yoga and Pilates mat realizing that the experience of quieting the mind and connecting with the breath led her to a deeper sense of well-being and balance. She truly fell in love with the Pilates method after taking her very first apparatus class here at the West Cobb studio and was not only drawn to the mind/body connection of the method but the immediate changes she started to see and feel in her own body. She noticed her posture improving and felt stronger than ever. At that time, she was thinking about pursuing a certification as a personal trainer to round out her health coaching business but quickly realized her passion for Pilates was greater than any other form of fitness and wanted to share and teach others just how good they could feel. She quickly enrolled in Club Pilates Teacher Training program and graduated in March 2019. “Sometimes I can’t believe how lucky I am to be teaching a method I love so much. I am beyond grateful to the studio and the amazing members for being so supportive along this journey! I think the best part for me is seeing how Pilates can positively impact the lives of the clients I am so lucky to teach. I love witnessing their journey, cheering them on and being a part of their progress. Can’t wait to see you in class!” ~ Jenn

Twenty-five years ago Wendy purchased a Pilates Reformer from QVC, a home shopping channel, along with some video tapes. Not exactly sure what she purchased, it arrived and she began following along with the video tapes, After two days working on the reformer with the tapes she was hooked! Living in a small town in Northern Minnesota, there was not any place to go much any further with her practice other than what she found on the internet. Many years go by and she moves to Atlanta, Georgia with her wife, dog and three cats. Looking to get back into Pilates with a club or studio and to maybe make some friendships, she found Club Pilates in West Cobb! She told Nicole and Ed at her intro class she ultimately wanted to become an instructor. Fast forward to today and she is busy teaching classes and loving every minute of it. Wendy loves to share her passion for pilates and wellness with her students and show her clients that with pilates, you can feel amazing at any age!
Maria is originally from Venezuela a place in the Caribbean where, she says “the sea, mountains, and smiles meet together”. She grew up practicing competitive gymnastics and all types of sports and activities including aerobics, kickboxing, swimming, yoga, scuba dive, rappel, skating, Pilates, and more. Several years ago, she suffered an injury and ended up having two back surgeries. She found Pilates to be the only exercise that allowed her to safely workout, rehabilitate, and to feel better. Wanting to share the positive effects that Pilates had on her own life with others, Maria decided to pursue a parallel career as a Pilates Instructor and enrolled in the Club Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training program. She wanted to make a meaningful and fun impact, helping others smile and feel the same way Pilates made her feel. Maria says that she lives by one of the Joseph Pilates’s quotes: “Change happens through movement and movement heals.”
