  • Lee Izen

    DVM

    Dr. Lee Izen is a 1971 graduate of Auburn University. He practiced Veterinary medicine in Maryland for five years before moving to Atlanta and opening VCA Terrell Mill Animal Hospital in 1976. The original facility was located across the street but due to the widening of Powers Ferry Road in 1999, he was forced to move the Hospital. Dr. Izen served as the President of the Cobb Emergency Veterinary Clinic for 4 years (1998-2002), the GVMA President (2003) and also served on the Board of the GVMA for several years. He has also served on the Novartis and Bayer National Advisory Committees. Dr. Izen has three grandkids, Tyler, Bailey and his newest addition Emme. His hobbies are being a "Papa" and an a devoted Auburn football fan. He has one pet who is the TMAH mascot named Maddie.

  • Melissa Miller

    DVM

    Dr. Melissa Miller graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, with honors, in 2000. Her first position as a budding veterinarian took her to the Valley of the Sun in Phoenix, Arizona. After sweating it out for 3 years in the desert, she made the wise move to Atlanta and have been practicing at VCA Terrell Mill since 2003. She is married to Michael and they have two children, Mackenzie and Maddox. Alge is a lab mix that also shares their home.

  • Abby Huggins

    DVM

    Dr. Abby Huggins joined TMAH in the beginning of 2006 after moving from Baltimore to join her husband, Todd, in Atlanta. She graduated from Duke University in 1997 with a BS in marine biology and received her DVM from the Ohio State University in 2001, where she was inducted into Phi Zeta, the national veterinary honors society. Dr. Huggin's veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, and doing her part in promoting the human-animal bond. Outside of the office, Dr. Huggins enjoys outdoor pursuits, in particular swimming, kayaking, SCUBA diving, and running. She owns 3 cats - Mason, O.G., and Boo. She is married to Todd and they have two children, Nathan and Jack.

  • Arvid Edward II

    DVM

    Dr. Arvid Edward II is a Cincinnati, Ohio native who developed the love for animals at a young age. Dr. Edward is a 1998 graduate from the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Edward began his Veterinary Medicine career in Orlando, Florida, where he practiced for 5 years, then moved to Los Angeles, California where he practiced for 3 years before settling in Atlanta, Georgia in October, 2006. . Dr. Edward has a lovely wife, Cicely, and two children, Zachary and Simone. He also has a love for acting, and has done numerous commercials, short films, and a kids television show for PBS. His other interests are bowling, raquetball, no limit Texas Hold'em, and just spending time with family.

  • Eleanore Robinson

    DVM

    Dr. Eleanore Robinson is an Atlanta native who joined TMAH in 2007, after spending 9 years in Colorado. She graduated from Washington and Lee University with a BA in Art History and after several years working in the real world�, decided that veterinary medicine was her true calling. Dr. Robinson received an MS in Anatomy and her DVM in 2005 from Colorado State University. After graduation, she completed a one-year internship at Animal Medical Hospital, a 24-hour, small animal general and emergency practice in Charlotte, NC. She has a cat named Moe who was born on the island of Grenada. Dr. Robinson enjoys spending time at her parents farm where the resident animals include cows, donkeys, chickens and an energetic Welsh Corgi named Nellie. Dr. Robinson enjoys participating in the Peachtree Road Race every 4th of July. Her other interests include hiking, running and generally anything outdoors.
