He completed his residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, and was then selected for a highly competitive Adult and Pediatric Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.
