Description
Dean M. Kirkel, MD joined Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers (NGOC) in December 2013. He completed his internship and residency at St. Mary’s Health Center / St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO in 2004. Following his residency Dr. Kirkel served as a junior faculty member in the Department of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis where he was responsible for patient management and resident teaching in general medicine and oncology. Dr. Kirkel has a clinical interest in lymphomas, plasma cell disorders, breast cancer, clotting disorders, and gastrointestinal neoplasia. He provides patient-centered cancer care at NGOC’s Marietta Cancer Center.
